This fabric is super soft, holds its shape well, and drapes so elegantly. This brocade is heavier than other fabric tyoes, more opulent, and features a raised, ornamental design with metallic threads.
--Material: Polyester and Gold Wire. The metallic threading envelopes the fabric with added luxury.
--Weave: For jacquard, the design is created by controlling each warp thread independently, allowing for complex patterns that are part of the fabric itself, not printed on. This brocade uses the jacquard loom, but employs additional weft threads to create a raised, ornamental, and three-dimensional pattern. The back of the fabric will show a "mess of floating threads" and the design is not reversible.
